Practise listening with one goal per attempt

A short process: prepare the questions, listen, compare and choose what to practise again.

IELTS Listening

Identify the information to listen for

Before playing the video, read the questions and identify what you need: a name, a number or a main idea. Preparation gives your listening session a purpose.

Separate listening from review

Use the first attempt to understand and answer. Open English notes and Vietnamese support afterwards. Compare answers to find what you did not hear clearly.

Listen again to work on one issue

Choose a goal instead of passively replaying everything: hear a name, recognise an expression or follow the main idea. Record useful vocabulary and try a new sentence.
